The coat of the Aussiedoodle can be curly, wavy, or straight, its length is very diverse, the presence of an undercoat is also variable. Depending on the coat type, the Aussiedoodle may require either regular brushing or grooming. It is also very important to keep your dog’s ears clean at all times. The Aussiedoodle is prone to diseases such as hip or elbow dysplasia and patella. Dogs of this breed show very severe reactions to Ivermectin, a drug used against heartworms.
Training
The Aussiedoodle is a highly intelligent dog that enjoys learning. They readily obey and require early socialization. Harsh or overbearing methods should not be used with this dog. Learning should be based on reward, perseverance, fairness, patience, and consistency.
Activity
The Aussiedoodle is a very athletic dog that needs intense exercise and quick wits to keep from getting bored. If their needs for movement and activity are sufficiently satisfied, then they can be kept in the apartment. But the Aussiedoodle will feel best in a fenced yard or aviary, where it will have enough room to move around.
