Characteristic

The Cavapoo is a compact, small to medium-sized dog with characteristic long ears and a round, expressive “face”. She is generally well built, agile, and very hardy.

Character

Cavapoo is an affectionate, loyal and very disposed dog. Gets along well with older children who know how to handle a dog, is friendly to other dogs and other pets. If he hears some unusual sounds or sees that someone has come to you, he will inform you about it with a ringing and perky barking. Cavoodle is completely human-centered and cannot stand being alone or overlooked.

Wool and care

The soft and silky Cavapoo coat can lie in curls, or it can be slightly curly and fall in free waves. Depending on the type of coat, the Kawapoo may need regular brushing to prevent tangling and mats, or a professional groomer may be required. It is important to keep your ears clean and trim your dog’s claws regularly. Common diseases in this breed are dysplasia of the joint, eye disease, dislocation of the patella, progressive retinal atrophy, skin diseases and epilepsy.

Training

It is recommended that Cavapoo take an early socialization course and teach him the basics of obedience. Like all small dogs, Cavoodle hardly learns to maintain cleanliness in the house, so it is recommended to initially keep him in a special box. Rough or arbitrary methods in dealing with Cavapoo are ineffective and training must be based on firmness, fairness, patience and consistency.

Activity
