The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever has a unique two-layer water-repellent coat that can successfully withstand even very cold temperatures. The soft outer layer reaches medium length, with a fluffy and dense undercoat underneath. The back legs and tail of the dog are decorated with beautiful longer strands. In order for the dog’s coat to remain not only smooth and beautiful, but also healthy, it must be combed daily right down to the undercoat.
